Killer whale captured

It seems that a whale was indeed caught in Russia.

If it survives the interim period, who knows what park it will end up at eventually. I will keep you updated with any information I find on this.

“Following rumours, we confirmed today that at least two orcas were captured in August in the Western Okhotsk Sea near Reineke Island by Sochi Dolphinarium. One of them is either dead or released. Another orca was transported to Vladivostok. That’s all we know for now, trying to find out more. Tell us what you think and we’ll get the message to Sochi Dolphinarium”.

” Confirmed information about the capture of killer whales. Two killer whales were caught in August in the western part of the Okhotsk Sea opposite the island of Reynard. One whale died, or, in another version, was released. The second was transported to Vladivostok and is now in the Dolphinarium tinro-Centre in the area. According to our information, the Orcas are planning to sell abroad.”
